Build bridges, don't burn them

People tend to give up on others easily. As humans, we tend to hold higher moral standards when judging others than the standards we have for ourselves.

When people act wrong, sometimes it only means they're human and make mistakes. It can also mean they're seeing things through a different lense. When people are mean it's usually because they're in pain. When they offend us, it can be because they felt offended first.

99% of people are not bad. When they act like a bad person it's because something hurts, something is broken. If someone did something wrong but you don't believe them to be bad mean spirited people, instead of pushing them away, extend your hands to them, get closer, give them a friend. Heat always breaks the ice.

I believe in second and third chances, in building instead of breaking, in leading by example and in embracing those who push you back.
